One of the thinnest models to ever walk on the runway
Andreea Stancu is a romanian model that made her (registered) runway and general modeling debut in 2003 born in 1984 in Curtea De Arges (Romania)
Discovery
Andreea was discovered at the age of 17 after she participated for Miss Romania and came in third even if she didn’t come in first in the jury there was an italian agency that was captivated by her and was the only one that was asked to get signed with them
Modeling Career
As said she (for what is registered) started in 2003 walking for shows like D&G, Alberta Ferretti, Iceberg, Clips, Ferre and many more, in her career i consider her to be a really underrated model that walked usually the same amount of shows for each season, she walked the most shows during the fall winter 2007 season marking her as one of Fendi’s staple runway models, for that season she walked also for Betsey Johnson, Dsquared2, Alexander Wang, Dolce & Gabbana + D&G, Sconamiglio, Scervino, Navarra, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo and more. after that andreea kept constant runway modeling circa up to spring 2010 then slowed down and mostly focused on photo modeling. Now Andreea is living in Milan with her italian husband whom she met when she actually started modeling back then when she first came to milan and also now has a child with him.
